FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT
ROSIE THE RECEPTIONIST
Who
is Rosie the Receptionist?
Rosie is not so much a "who"
as a what. Rosie is a package of automated
services that answers your phones when you are
out, when your phones ring more than 3-4 times,
and/or when all your lines are busy. No equipment
to buy, or to be put onsite.
What
would I ordinarily get in a basic Rosie
package?
All of the following services/features are generally
included in a basic package. Keep in mind that
we can customize Rosie to fit virtually any type
of business.
-
Multiple greetings. These can be by time
of day, or by event. Such as one for daytime,
one for after hours, and one for holidays.
- Multiple
menus. You can customize each greeting with
a different menu.
-
Live Revert. You can choose to allow
the caller to reach a live person.
Examples: On-call emergency personnel, on on-call
agent, 24-hour claims office, etc.
- Dial
by Name: Rosie can provide the caller the
opportunity to reach an employee's voice mailbox
direct.
-
Information Only. Callers who want to
leave a message do not want to wade through
information first. But callers who want your
address, directions, hours, etc. love this option.
- A
"General Mailbox". This allows
callers who don't know who or what they want
to leave a message. When a message is left in
this voice mailbox, we can "deliver"
it back to your main number or cell phone, notify
your desktop or cell phone by e-mail, or page
your pager or cell phone.
What
are some of the advantages that Rosie has
over Live Answering Services?
-
Rosie will never put the caller on hold.
- When
you forward your calls to Rosie, she will answer
on the first ring.
- Rosie
will never put your caller on hold.
- Rosie
answers in the same pleasant voice every time.
She never has a "bad hair day".
-
Rosie provides precise information; no human
error.
-
Rosie can provide the caller with information.
- With
our fax back option, Rosie can instantly fax
back information to the caller.
How
does Rosie handle "emergency dispatch"
of after hour personnel?
This
is one of Rosie's strengths. After a message is
left, she can page pagers, notify cell phones,
deliver messages to cell phones; she can even
connect the caller to a cell phone or a landline.
And she can do any mix of these, up to five different
devices.
